I hope it becomes a bill you look forward to opening!

My newsletter is launching this month because it's the first anniversary of my book "Electric Life," a milestone year for me, and a time to celebrate new ventures.

The tips and tools here are designed to help you find your energy to live, an energy that is real and sustainable and allows you to find value in your everyday life, work, family, and community.

I hope you use this newsletter as a "pick me up!"  Come back to it when you're having a low-energy day, and use the tips and ideas below to recharge.

Until next time!

MICROSTEP

In my book, Electric Life, I've created twelve tiny steps forward. As you implement these small actions into your daily life, you’ll understand the choices you can make to close the gap between the person you are and the person you want to be.

In choosing your path deliberately and joyfully, you can discover, keep, and even build energy to live your own electric life.

Did you know that bumblebees create their own mini hurricanes around them? They "spin" the air so that they float, supported by the draft, and hover. They bring the energy of a hurricane to every single flower that they touch.

We can start finding our potential hurricane by just showing up in body, mind and spirit.

When you ‘show up’, or are present, in body, mind and spirit, you create your own energetic atmosphere.

Assess whether your BODY - your physical self - encourages or prevents connection. Whether your MIND - thoughts and concerns - is revealed to your colleagues. Whether your SPIRIT - passions and identity - is guiding your actions.

Showing up is strapping into our own little hurricane of energy so that we don’t sink. And we show up for ourselves first: not for our bosses, our friends or even our families.

We show up for ourselves so that we can float like bumblebees.
